Car advertised online was already sold

Business reply on Google

Patrick, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand the frustration when a vehicle shows as available while a deal is still being finalized. In this case, the car was under contract, but the transaction took longer than expected to complete. With specialty and enthusiast vehicles, we occasionally experience extended closing timelines due to inspections, financing, or logistics, and we do our best to keep listings updated as quickly as possible once a sale is fully concluded. We appreciate you reaching out and regret that your experience didn’t meet expectations. If you’re ever looking for a specific vehicle in the future, we’re always happy to help locate or source one directly.

Car sold with undisclosed electrical, steering, and brake issues

Business reply on Google

Hello Jeffrey, Perhaps you are reviewing the wrong company? Auto Connections Seattle does not have an employee named Keith. We do not have a Lexus SC 430 in our inventory, nor have we recently met a customer from Boston. We are sorry to hear about your experience. https://www.autoconnectionsseattle.com/staff

Staff member was unhelpful and made a sexist assumption

Business reply on Google

Thank you for giving us your feedback through Google Reviews. I'm sorry we didn't get to talk in person about the purchasing process. Texting doesn't allow for human voice and intention of words. We are more than open to accommodate any customers needs and have done multiple off site showings and deliveries. Our Chevy Cruz has a rare manual transmission. We always mention so as to be sure the customer is fully informed. We are a small company that takes pride in individualizing the process of buying a car and would like to earn your business.

Dealership sold car with un-repaired oil leak, despite promises

Business reply on Google

Auto Connections Seattle is sorry you had a bad experience with Used Car Dealers who use band aids or duct tape for repairing vehicles. We are not aware of a way band aids or duct tape could be used for fixing oil leaks? We always encourage customers to call if they have issues as we are able to help determine if there is warranty on work completed or help in problem solving repairs required. We have not sold a 2009 BMW Xi in the last few months? Almost two years ago we sold a 2009. It had an issue for which we took care to resolve even after being treated very rudely without even asking what Auto Connections Seattle could do to remedy the situation. In this case we did receive a verbal apology for the rude language and a thank you for taking responsibility after making the repairs needed. An important point to keep in mind, Auto Connections Seattle does not fix cars. We use reputable repair shops with no affiliation to us who independently have been in business for several years and get great reviews for their competent work.

Car sold with undisclosed defects and faulty repairs causing further damage.

Business reply on Google

There is nothing worse than unexpected car trouble. At Auto Connections Seattle we understand the hassle and frustration when mechanical failure occurs. We also work VERY hard to find and sell good cars for which mechanics we trust have done appropriate work to make for safe and reliable transportation. When an issue arises after a sale is complete, we always tell the customer to give us an opportunity to confirm the work done was handled correctly. Not making a call and giving us an opportunity is often costly to our customer. Although our vehicles are clearly sold AS IS – we have resources and history that can often mitigate or negate cost of repairs. We never heard about any of Max’s issues with his Outback before he posted this review on Google. After we read and reached out to Max, he has learned a valuable lesson. Make a phone call. We came to a mutual resolve for our participation in payment for repairs that would have been covered under warranty. He could have saved more money had he had just given us a call.
