Thank you for your business and review, I would like to clarify a couple of things. When you originally presented your vehicle to us, you asked us to perform a Buyer's check because you just purchased the vehicle and it was making several noises. After performing the service, we informed you the vehicle has a used engine and several components were left loose. As a courtesy, we tighten one of the motor mount bolts to solve one of your noises. We also stated the exhaust manifold had a large leak and the system was setting several fault codes, one of which was for the 02 sensor. We never performed a diagnostic check of the circuit, that is not included in the service that you requested. When you pressed me on what the issue could be I stated the leak needed to be fixed and a possible sensor. You had the sensor replaced at another shop and asked us to repair the exhaust leak, which we did. When you returned and asked us to find out why the light was on, we performed several test on 2 circuits to informed you what was needed for the 2 remaining codes. That is the only time you paid for diagnostic testing. The 1st charge was for the Buyer's check.

Ms. Lamour, Thank you for reaching out to us for an estimate on your vehicle. I have reviewed your experience and spoke to all parties involved. The price that Tony provided to you was based on the price we were quoted when we contacted the dealer. I looked at his notes and contacted the dealer again today to confirm pricing. We were in fact given the wrong price of the part. I do not know if that was intentional or a mistake but it did effect our quote to you. I would also add there are times when a part we purchase from the dealer will have a higher price, simply because I cannot stay in business and provide for my employees selling a part for cost. There have been several past occasions where the dealer did not or could not find the problem and we did, so the dealer is not always better. We spend several hours a year training to keep up with technology. You mentioned our other reviews and we do not take them for granted. I have been here for over 25 years and we work very hard to take care of our customers. I am sorry your first experience was not a pleasant one. I would like to add, even though you were given a higher estimate, to say that we were "TRASH" is not warrantied. Eve
Poor communication regarding vehicle service and costs.

Mr. Chin, Thank you for the opportunity to service your vehicle, I'm sorry you were disappointed in the service that you received. I do agree there was a misunderstanding of the services you requested. Typically when someone request a general service and check over, they are requesting an oil change and tire rotation, which is what was completed. Our tech did inspect the vehicle during that process, which is why I informed you the upper radiator hose was seeping and the tires had inside wear. I wasn't aware you wanted a preventive maintenance schedule. As you stated, because you were a first time customer, I did not have any previous history to make immediate suggestions. We do normally make suggestions based on mileage, but in this case I did not. We also did not see any pressing issues during the inspection. After I informed you the service was completed and was made aware of what you wanted, I did take another 45 minutes to put together an estimate of additional services as you requested and you declined the services stating you would just take it to the dealer. The only charge was for the oil change and tire rotation, which again is what I would refer to as a general service. W

Hi Ms. Anderson, My name is Rozel and I'm owner of The Hybrid Shop. Let me begin by apologizing for your experience with our service. It is never our goal for someone to experience a mechanical issue after leaving our shop. However there are a few things to clarify. The wrecker service you contacted was not our tow service and we did not have anything to do with that portion. In fact, they parked the vehicle and blocked our service gate for most of the day. After not being able to locate they key, we made several calls to them and they could not locate the driver who left the vehicle. They did finally come move it inside our gate to clear the entry. Once they told us the key was in the back seat, we still had to move several items to find it. Your vehicle was full of a lot of items and the key was not just sitting there in plain site. We do not rummage through customer's belongings. Secondly as arrived your vehicle did not start and the windows were down. There was no power to the interior. Once we charged the battery and replaced the fuse, power was restored and the your vehicle started. We did check for high resistance on the inverter pump circuit, and at the time, all readings w

Hi Ms. Royster, Thanks you for your review, I'm sorry you were not satisfied with our service. For the record, I did review your invoice and you were charged a total of $115.42 ($50 in labor, $54 in fluids and cleaner plus taxes) Our technician did identify the leak, clean the area, removed and reinstall the pressure sensor. Our normal diagnostic fee is typically $125 and since the repair was less, they completed the repair. Our manager did reach out to the gentleman that dropped of the vehicle but he did not answer. By the time you reached our manager on his cell phone (provided to you by the customer that referred you,)we were already closed. It is not our practice to do repairs without authorization, but as I mentioned it was actually less that our normal diagnostic charge for checking the vehicle. Thank you again for your business.

Hi Mr. Santos, My name is Rozel and I'm the owner of the Hybrid Shop of the Carolinas. I have reviewed your invoice and I see a total of $189.72 ($176.90 plus $12.82 in taxes)for the A/C diagnosis. Your system was low on refrigerant when it arrived, and the system cannot be checked properly with a low charge. That price was for a system charge and electrical check of the circuit. I appreciate your business, and review but your statement is incorrect. I would be happy to discuss it further if you would like to give me a call at your convenience. Thanks you again for your business.

Hi Mrs. Murphy, I would like to thank you for your business and your review. I do however need to clarify some information. My name is Rozel and I am the owner of the business. To begin, the vehicle you are speaking of is 25 years old and was sitting for an extensive length of time. When we received the vehicle, I personally pressured washed it to remove the dirt and mold accumulated from sitting before even allowing the vehicle inside of the shop. We did perform several repairs just to get the engine running and vehicle back into a safe condition. Once it was able to be driven, there was a clicking noise in the front differential and the front driveshaft was removed to eliminate the noise. I know for a fact that my manager explained to your husband and yourself that we could remove it, but it would basically make the vehicle a 2 wheel drive. This was only offered because of the price concern with the other repairs. As far as the other items, we did not work on the air bag . I know you said everything worked before, but anytime a vehicle sits for that period of time, items can and will fail. There was also a distinct smell of mold which would indicate moisture is entering into the
