We thank you for coming into the shop for a quote. When you walked in to our shop, there was a technician assembling a computer behind the counter. Our customer service associate that takes in drop offs and customer inquiries was next door store making a purchase. When you approached the technician behind the counter he was unable to respond to you due to his speech impediment. We understand that seemed rude to you that he didn’t respond to you as you posted earlier on your review. Unfortunately it was bad timing that our front desk associate was not at the counter to assist you. It is understandable that you walked out and did not do business with us. However we thank you for stopping by.

The fee on diagnostic is for our time to take the computer part and see the internal and external damages that will require parts to be replaced. It was something that was told to you before we took the laptop in. The laptop has a broken screen, hinges, backlid cover and ticking hard drive because of the drop. After advising you not to repair it because the cost would be too much and not worth it because it was an older model I offered to buy it for parts. I even gave you an option that was $100 cheaper for all those parts that needed to be replaced. I mentioned parts and labor include a one year warranty. None of the options worked for you and I said no problem I would put your computer together for pickup. Not sure how much you were expecting to pay with your laptop so broken. Sorry that we had to run the shop from home for 4 months while we worked on getting our new location. Thats the reason why our commercial location opens in Shoreline on March 1st.
