Overcharged for service and did not complete promised checks
Business reply on Google
Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback regarding your recent visit. I am genuinely sorry to hear that our service did not meet the standards we strive to uphold, particularly regarding the cleanliness of your vehicle and the thoroughness of our multi-point inspection. Leaving oil stains in a glove box is unacceptable, and I apologize that your fluids were not topped off as promised. I also hear your concerns regarding our pricing and the necessity of the repairs suggested. We aim to provide transparent recommendations to ensure vehicle safety, but it is clear that in this instance, we missed the mark on both value and execution. I will be sharing your comments with our service team to review our quoting processes and our final quality control checks to ensure these oversights do not happen again. We appreciate your honesty, as it helps us improve our service.
Business refused warranty work and wanted to charge more for diagnosis
Business reply on Google
Hi Marvin, We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. When the original work was completed last year, we clearly noted on your invoice—and discussed with you—that the belt would not be covered under warranty unless the oil leak was repaired. Unfortunately, that repair was not completed, and oil contamination is a known cause of premature belt failure. While the belt may appear dry now, oil exposure over time can still degrade the material. Our team offered to inspect the issue, but you declined and chose to perform the repair yourself before we could evaluate it. We stand behind our work when all conditions of the warranty are met, and we’re always happy to work with customers to find fair solutions. If you’d like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact us directly. Thank you, Figs Auto Repair

Incorrect diagnosis and repair, car still not fixed
Business reply on Google
I am so sorry you feel that way Nadya. You knew the car was in bad shape after attempting repairs on it before bringing it to us. We did the best we could in a very difficult situation to try and help you but apparently that didn't work out. This is exactly the reason that we do not normally work on cars that someone else has taken apart. There are just too many potential issues there.

Auto repair quote increased by over 100% without explanation
Business reply on Google
Our goal is to ensure your vehicle is operating safely and efficiently just as the manufacturer intended. To that regard, we provide upfront pricing and information to enable you to make the decision to do a complete repair - or not. It sounds like we met our goal here by providing this information to you. We don't pressure you to make the recommended repairs and it sounds like you chose not to.
Charged for repairs but failed to inspect car as requested.
Business reply on Google
Hi Mike, I'm truly sorry you feel this way. I does sound like we did not do a good job on communication, but as we have discussed with you, the work you requested and approved was done. Including the inspection. We don't make the rules on what passes and fails on state inspections but are glad to help do the repairs to get you to pass. We strive to provide as much information as possible. I am sorry we let you down here. Let me know what I can do to help in the future. Thanks Greg
Overcharged for alignment; car photos posted on social media without consent.
Business reply on Google
Hi Jamese, Few things I wanted to mention here: 1. We always provide upfront pricing to make sure there are no surprises 2. You can't compare our out the door price with a price you got from a dealer. Just like everywhere else, there will be taxes, shop supplies and likely other charges on that final bill. So, we would end up being less expensive than the dealer. 3. I wasn't aware the shop behind us posted images of your car on Instagram. I will be glad to ask them to remove those pictures. 4. Finally, it is standard practice to open the hood for any service. Many alignments do require access to things under the hood like struts and upper control arms. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks Greg
Waited two days for a repair that was not completed.
Business reply on Google
Rosetta, it's very unfortunate to hear this is your impression of us, especially because we do not have any record of you coming into our shop. In addition, we do not install parts provided by customers -- perhaps you have the wrong business? Hope you got the help you needed, and if you need any more car care we'd be happy to help. -Greg, Owner
