Theater advertised as IMAX is smaller, has poor seating, and no air conditioning.

Business reply on Google

Dweep, Thanks for sharing this feedback. We're sorry for the discomfort during your visit to the PACCAR IMAX Theater. Our air conditioning stopped working properly last week. Once we became aware of the situation, guests with impacted shows were offered the option of a refund prior to their showtime if they preferred not to attend under these conditions. If you believe you qualify for a refund, please email [email protected] with your order number. We apologize again for the inconvenience and hope you'll join us for a future show. If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding our PACCAR IMAX Theater, please reach out to me directly at [email protected]. Sincerely, Raphaela Romero | Director of Guest Services

Paul, Thanks for sharing this feedback. In February of this year, we announced that the theater previously known as the Boeing IMAX is under new ownership and Pacific Science Center no longer operates the programming or schedule in that space. Since then, we have continued to show Documentaries and Feature Films on our PACCAR IMAX screen. If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding our PACCAR IMAX Theater, please reach out to me directly at [email protected]. Theater advertised as IMAX is a small screen

Business reply on Google

Alex, Thank you for sharing this feedback. I do want to clarify that the Paccar IMAX Theater is definitely an IMAX screen according to the IMAX Corporation. PACCAR also has the third largest screen in Seattle and the fourth largest in the PNW region. Established in 1979 and renovated in 2011, it is now one of the longest-running IMAX Theaters in the country. We are pleased to show a variety of films on the 37’ x 60’ screen including science documentaries, features, and festivals such as the Irish Film Festival and SIFF. We look forward to welcoming thousands of guests to see Christopher Nolan’s epic, The Odyssey, in July. Tickets are on sale now at https://bit.ly/3IJXlXO. If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding our PACCAR IMAX Theater, please reach out to me directly at [email protected]. Sincerely, Raphaela Romero | Vice President of Guest Services

Theater falsely advertises using images of a non-operating screen

Business reply on Google

Hi Tattletale, Thank you for providing this feedback. We're sorry for the confusion and are working with Google to get this resolved for future guests. PacSci operates the PACCAR IMAX Theater, which features 37' and 60' wide Silver Screens for 3D β€” you can learn more at https://pacificsciencecenter.org/visit/imax/. Business listing has incorrect name, location, and reviews

Business reply on Google

Hi Crazed, Thank you for leaving this feedback. We are sorry about the confusion regarding our review page and are working to resolve the issue with Google. The page is now currently listed as the "PACCAR IMAX Theater" and has the corrected map location. I did want to clarify that the Google Review page does include pictures and reviews for both theaters prior to the sale in February. Recent reviews, including those for our showings of Project Hail Mary, are for the PACCAR IMAX Theaters. If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding our review pages or online listings, please reach out to me directly at [email protected]. Original IMAX theater closed, leaving only a smaller, less convenient option

Business reply on Google

Drew, Thank you for sharing this feedback. I'm sorry your recent visit to our PACCAR IMAX Theater was disappointing, and I can understand your frustration when the experience didn't match what you expected. Per our announcement in February, the theater previously known as the Boeing IMAX is under new ownership and all IMAX films at PacSci will be shown in our PACCAR IMAX Theater. I want to understand more about your visit and how we can improve the experiences we provide in our PACCAR IMAX Theater. If you're open to it, I'd like to chat with you directly about what would make your next visit better. You can reach me at [email protected]. Sincerely, Raphaela Romero | Vice President of Guest Services

Concessions lack real butter for popcorn.

Business reply on Google

Hi Geofre, Thank you for this feedback. I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy our concessions options during your last visit to our Boeing IMAX Theater. Similar to most theaters, we use industry-standard topping and topping oil for our popcorn. Our oils are dairy-free and kosher. We appreciate your feedback as we work to enhance our guest experience. I would love to hear more about your visit and any specific thoughts you may have. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected] to continue the conversation. David, Thank you for this feedback. I am very sorry that you had a negative experience at Pacific Science Center. When the 2:00pm showing for Warfare on Saturday was cancelled, we attempted to get in contact with every ticket holder. We were not able to establish contact with you, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused. Per our records, your tickets were refunded yesterday upon your request onsite. I would like to learn more about your experience, including your interactions with our staff. You can reach out to me directly to [email protected] to continue the conversation. Unreserved seating and uncomfortable seats made for a poor experience.

Business reply on Google

Hi Ajay, Thank you for this feedback. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at Pacific Science Center's Boeing IMAX Theater. You mention our seating being first come, first serve. At PacSci, none of our theater or show experiences have assigned seating. In order to transition to an assigned seating system, we would need to perform a lengthy renovation that would close our theater space for some time and remove some seats. This would reduce the number of people who would be able to see a film at our Boeing IMAX theater, which has the largest screen in the state. In addition, PacSci prides ourselves in providing a unique, exclusive theater experience that includes a personalized usher speech, concessions pricing lower than chain theaters, and one-of-a-kind guest service. I am also very sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty parking during your visit. While there are parking garages and street parking available near us, I also wanted to make you aware that we are accessible via public transportation. To learn more about parking and public transportation options, you can visit: https://pacificsciencecenter.org/visit/parking-transportation/. We appreciate your

Business reply on Google

Hello Lance, Thank you for this feedback. I'm very sorry to hear that you had difficulty locating our entrance and were unable to reach our staff via phone. You mention that there was no one at our admissions gates. I did want to make you aware that our Denny Way entrance is closed. Our main North Gate entrance at 200 2nd Avenue is always staffed during operating hours. There is an accessible drop-off location along 2nd Ave near our entrance between Pacific Science Center and the Children’s Theater. I would like to learn more about your experience and how we might be able to serve you better in the future. You can email me at [email protected] to continue the conversation.
