Let me start with some clarification, I reviewed your history and before this visit you had your spark plugs and cabin air filter replaced and 2 oil changes done with us. You paid a total of $148.46 for each oil change, and didn’t have any other visits with us that resulted in a $2000 bill, you may have us confused with another shop. It is true we may not be the cheapest shop but rest assured we are competitively priced in the market. I apologize if you were not able to get on demand service the morning of December 9th. Please understand we are open 12 hours a day to allow customers more flexibility with drop offs/pickups, the technicians are only available during 8 of those hours. The service advisors and lot porters are not able to diagnose or fix cars that is why the gentleman you spoke with was unable to help you and suggested dropping it off. Technicans are happy to help customers when possible with advice or free fault scan etc.. It is unfortunate that a technician was not available at the time you stopped by. I apologize if a last minute discount was not applied to your invoice at pickup. All discounts need to be discussed with your service advisor at the time when pricing i

Hi Jennifer, I see your last visit was 8 years ago, in May of 2017! So much has changed since then, the technician you worked with has since retired as well as the previous owner of the business. We are under new ownership and woman owned! If you still have the BMW we encourage you to give us another chance to earn your business. Take care!
Business recommended unnecessary repairs to customer's vehicle

Hi Dave, I appreciate the feedback. The cabin and engine air filters are scheduled maintenance that is recommended on a time/mileage schedule created by Mini. When a customer comes in for their annual service we let them know what scheduled maintenance is due based on their current mileage. If you have already taken care of the air filters on your own that’s great! Just let us know you’ve already done them, if you are able to do a little DIY and save some money in the process, we can appreciate that. We are only looking to communicate what is recommended by Mini because the majority of our customers are not interested in doing their own work and rely on us to make sure they are following the manufacturers maintenance schedule, we are happy to deal with all those details. We try to keep our costs low in spite of being in an industry with ever increasing prices. We are mindful of our customers and strive to pass on as much savings as we can. We also offer free brake inspections that only take a few minutes so you can pop in anytime to have them re-checked. It sounds like they have held up for awhile. We generally recommend to replace them before they get to metal on metal as we have
Inaccurate diagnostic work

I believe you were from the used car dealership and we did a pre-purchase inspection on a car you were selling. This review seems to fall into the conflict of interest category.
Charged for diagnosis without identifying the issue

I see in our system you did not pay a diagnostic fee and got free advice then you completed repairs yourself. There is not much we can do for you in this situation. Thank you for your time.

Hi Mason, I do apologize for your experience. I see you are leaving a review in regards to a visit that was 5 years ago May of 2017, we changed ownership 3 years ago and would have handled your situation differently. We do hope you can give us another try.

Hi Kidist, I’m very sorry to hear you had a bad experience, your review posted in October 2019 is pertaining to your last visit which was in May of 2018. Precision Motorworks changed ownership in November of 2018, which means your vehicle was serviced under previous ownership. Regardless of this, we are more than willing to rectify your situation in any way we possibly can. I invite you to help us better understand what happened. Please bring in any documentation you have on this matter so we can help you. Also, we realize you are the front office manager of Lamorna garage, which is considered to be a direct competitor of ours. I briefly spoke to Gordon, the owner of the business, because you originally left a 5-star rating for Lamorna garage, your employer, on Sept 28th 2019, and within 24 hrs followed with a 1-star rating for us with no statements. This alone appeared to be a conflict of interest due to the inherent bias that exists between you, Lamorna and our company and employees. Anyways, no scenes were made, you were not even there at the time. Gordon and I were very respectful towards one another and spoke very briefly. Again, please know that we are more than willing to re
