The shop overcharged for repairs that failed to fix the issue.

Good morning Muhammad- thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We just wanted to share a few details regarding your first visit. The fuel filler neck was falling out of the vehicle and we replaced it with a part directly from the dealer. You're welcome to call any local Ford dealer to verify parts pricing- we supplied the part at the same price Ford would charge which is called list price. We also did not diagnose the vehicle while it was in as that neck was badly broken and we did advise that if the check engine light comes back on again we will need to diagnose the vehicle as something more will be going on, however, it takes a few drive cycles to throw a code for EVAP system items. We advised you at the time you dropped off the vehicle for the second visit that diagnosis may be needed, and as we only replaced the fuel filler neck the rest of the system was not under warranty. We advised during this second visit that the technician needs to perform diagnosis in the form of a smoke test to isolate where any other leaks are present in the EVAP system, which you declined. We stand by our warranty 100% and can try to help out as much as we possibly can, but since no diagnosis w
High cost for brake service and a fee for declined quotes.

Hi Drew- thanks for your review. The brakes we use are Akebono's which are really long lasting brakes and result in the lowest amount of noise complaints. For shops of our caliber who come with nationwide warranties our prices are comparable to other shops of our caliber. We aren't the cheapest in San Diego, but neither are we the most expensive. We do quality work using quality components that are built to last and maximize lifespan. To do a proper brake inspection you have to remove the wheels and measure everything out to get an accurate gauge and it is only fair that if you decline services my guys still get paid for the work they put in to inspect your vehicle. We only charge a half hour of labor for racking the vehicle, removing the wheels and measuring everything if you don't proceed which we feel is very fair.
The business quoted excessively high prices for spark plug replacement.

Hi Brendan- thanks for your review. While we appreciate you taking the time to provide a review we really do not appreciate being called a rip off shop. For the V6 Toyota Camry's the intake manifold has to be removed to replace the spark plugs and it is a 3-4 hour job to do the replacement. Our prices are in line with what other shops charge in the San Diego area, and bare in mind we also offer a 1 year, 12k mile warranty nationwide on any services we provide. We can't help but notice that the vast majority of your reviews are negative or mention overpricing and rip off's here in the downtown area. We also don't enjoy spending so much but this unfortunately comes with the territory here in the San Diego region. It hits us too and we we would love to be save money where we can too.

Thanks very much for your review. We appreciate any feedback whether it be good, neutral or negative. We did feel, however, that there were some points worth clarifying. You were informed via telephone before towing the vehicle in how our process works and were made aware of the $262.50 diagnosis charge before we received the vehicle. A short while later the vehicle arrived by tow truck to address a crank, no start concern and you authorized the diagnosis. We performed diagnosis checking spark, air and fuel to the engine and found the fuel pump failed but power and ground were present leading to the pump. We recommended replacement of the fuel pump at this time and you were quoted a bill out the door of $1090.07 which you authorized. We replaced the fuel pump, got the car started and running and test drove it with no check engine light present on the vehicle. When you came to pick up your vehicle you were also informed a part that was quoted in the initial estimate was not needed and as such your bill went down to $975.38 (lowering it by $115). We ensure our repairs are economical and high quality tackling the concern the vehicle was brought in for, which was addressed with the new

We always appreciate constructive feedback. We do strive to be the best at what we do and although that might not be good enough at times, we still give it our best efforts. I'm not sure where we fell short of the mark, but maybe you could call us direct and just tell us honestly where we went wrong. We never claim to be perfect and probably never will be in some peoples eyes π, but we do try our best to give great customer service and have best business practice. Thank you for your feedback, Scott

This is an odd accusation to make when none of my guys drink. That said if, I want to have a beverage after hours of operation in my own establishment, that's my prerogative. However, I do appreciate your comment with respect to pricing, because we take pride in providing fair and honest pricing. If you had a problem with the service we provided, then maybe you should have called me directly so we could have rectified the problem instead of degrading my employees and making false accusations.
