There are a number of moving companies in the United States which use American Moving and Storage as a part of their brand name. Hello Hannah - Thank you for the frank feedback. You were the first move of the day on the crew's schedule. We typically don't call on the way to the first move, since we have a standard start time of 8:30. Instead, our operations team calls the day before to ensure we have all of the information needed for the move. I apologize for the communication issue. I also apologize for the damages which occurred to your side table, and I appreciate the time you and I spent on the phone discussing this issue. I am glad we were able to provide you with a reimbursement amount you felt was fair and adequate. We strive to provide an excellent customer experience on every move, and as our reviews reflect, we generally succeed in achieving this goal. However, in this case we did not meet our goal, but your feedback is appreciated, and provides us an opportunity to improve our processes. Again, I apologize. Todd K - Owner

Hello Ms Fulton. My name is Todd, and I am the owner of American Moving and Storage Solutions located in Columbus, OH. This was not a move by our company. We don't do moves outside of a 300 mile radius of Columbus, OH, and in reading your review, it appears your move was a long-haul, interstate move. I also looked at our records for all of 2019, and we don't show you as a customer. Based on your prior Google reviews, it looks like you are located in the Santa Fe, NM area and not in the Columbus, OH area. I know other companies use similar business names in the moving industry, and it appears you may have unintentionally placed this review on our website. As you can imagine, we are proud of our service level and value our Google reviews. Having a significantly negative review like this can create confusion for our future customers and damage our rating level on Google. I would greatly appreciate it if you could respond to this note, and help clarify this review. I can assure you, American Moving and Storage Solutions provides the most highly-rated moving services in Columbus, and we would never manage a customer move in the manner you have indicated.
