Dear Ms. King, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me on the phone this morning. I sincerely apologize that you did not have a positive experience with us. As you know, (since you have stayed with us many times before)what you experienced is not our standard of service. I will be sure to follow up with my team and re-train them on reviewing our linen when folding it after being cleaned daily and when making up the rooms to ensure stained linen is not being used. I appreciate your willingness to try us again in the future and give us another opportunity to "wow" you. I will definitely use your experience as a training opportunity to ensure this does not happen to future guests. I wish your daughter the best of luck in school and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Dear Ernesto, I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us, but am happy to hear you enjoyed the area and service and found the big parking lot to be convenient. Unfortunately, we do not offer room service, but the Chestnut Grill and Sidewalk Cafe is located right next door and they may be able to bring food to your room if you call them from the speed-dial button located on the phones in the rooms. Room 201, the room in which you stayed, is one of our smaller rooms and is one of our four rooms that connects to another room. This may be why you thought the walls were thin. Since we are a historical, boutique hotel, every room is a little different. Should you return in the future, I encourage you to book a King room, Supreme King, or Suite, which are all larger than our queen rooms and to request a quiet room that isn't connecting and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. It's odd that your Wifi did not work, you can always call down to the front desk and they can assist you. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback; it helps us to improve the experience for future guests.

Hi Theresa, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent use of our event space, the Bombay Room. I am pleased to hear you thought the Hotel was nice and that you found the staff to be friendly. As you discovered, we share our parking lot with the other restaurants and businesses on our property and, unfortunately, it can sometimes get a bit hectic. Should you choose to hold an event in the Bombay Room again, please speak with our General Manager about possibly putting some cones out to reserve parking spaces for your group. We can't guarantee parking for everyone, but we can do our best to make it as easy as possible for your group. Also, we do not have space for a bathroom directly off of the Bombay Room, but there is one located on the first floor just steps away from the Bombay Room in the Chestnut Grill (access door from the Hotel lobby). The Hotel also has a bathroom on our second floor. Thank you again for your comments.

Dear Ms. Bartlett, Thank you for your email and congratulations on your granddaughter’s wedding. I took a moment and reviewed your reservation. I am sorry to hear you did not care for our Supreme King, Room 601, in our historic Carriage House building. I saw that you originally booked a Queen room for a two-night stay. When assigning rooms, I noticed you were part of the Brown / Romano wedding block and upgraded your reservation at no additional cost to a supreme king room in our carriage house building, where the bride and groom and another party from your group were already staying. I thought you would enjoy the room with its fireplace, clawfoot tub, motorized skylight, historic windows, and heated towel bar and I am sorry you didn’t. You are correct, our desk agents should note guests requesting elevator access when making a reservation. I am sorry that we did not inquire if you required elevator access and that it was not noted on your reservation. We were able to accommodate your early check in on the 29th. Did you happen to mention to my desk associate that you did not care for the room? Had we known, we would have been able to upgrade a different reservation and offer you a

I followed up with the front desk employee who checked you in and found out there was a misunderstanding with our credit card authorization policy. I sincerely apologize for the confusion. Should you choose to stay with us again, kindly contact [email protected] or [email protected] and we will be sure you are well taken care of.
