Pretty sure you had a rack and pinion replaced at another shop that is not working quite right? We recommended you take it back to that shop to have the problem rectified. If you recall. But sorry it didn't meet your expectations.

Dan G, thank you for the review, all reviews serve a purpose, and yours is a great lesson for consumers. A simple google review "what area of tire is safe to repair" will produce plenty of images that will educate the public. As you can see from the photo we provided, your tire is not safe to repair. Not to say somebody wouldn't stick a plug in the tire, charge $15, send the car down the road and cross the fingers. As far as the cost, we do charge $35.00 for a tire repair, plus the materials used, not all are the same, but suffice it to say, a basic tire repair is $43.63. Now the MOST IMPORTANT part of my reply. Please, for you, your wife and any family and friends that may be driving in that car, replace that tire now. The life you save may very well be your own! As someone who heard the conversation, I can say when you asked for a vehicle inspection it was quoted at $100. When you arrived you had several issues you need diagnosed. Diagnostic work is NOT a vehicle inspection. Yes the audacity of us and out techs getting paid for their skill and work product. Yes, shame on us. Sorry you feel this way.
