To clarify, this gift card appears to be from a system we stopped using more than 5–6 years ago. These older cards are no longer supported by our current processing system and cannot be read or verified for any remaining balance. The issue has absolutely nothing to do with the color of the card, as stated in your review. When these cards were originally issued, a receipt was also provided showing the balance at that time. Since you did not have that receipt either, there was no way for us to verify whether any funds remained on the card. It could just as easily have been a card that had already been fully used. Calling our business “dishonest” or “immoral” is simply false and unfair. We explained the situation clearly when you called. We have always operated with integrity and would never refuse a valid card with a verifiable balance.
