Actually, we do offer, and stand behind our guarantee for 12 months against manufacturer defects and workmanship. We (including our experienced field technicians who perform thousands of installations per year) take pride in our work product and our 99% customer service satisfaction rating. In the rare instance where there is a warranty issue, we are set up to make it right soon after the homeowner makes us aware. In fact in your case (after waiting 13 months to make us aware of the issue), we made a return visit to fix this new damage even though it was outside of our warranty scope and coverage period. As a matter of record, we do not guarantee damage done to posts or mailboxes that we install by other vehicles. It is our experience that this type of damage (in your case - a loose post that has broken loose from the concrete) is virtually always done by a third party (i.e. snow plows, delivery vehicles, service vehicles, school buses, and even errant drivers).
