Shop failed to communicate that brake parts were unavailable for appointment.

Business reply on Google

Mrs. Herring, We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. We take communication seriously, which is why we thoroughly reviewed our records and spoke with our service advisors, but unfortunately we were unable to locate an appointment or repair order matching the details you described. When brake service is scheduled in advance, we routinely complete brake pad replacement the same day, so we'd really like the opportunity to better understand what happened. If you're willing, please contact our management team directly so we can look into this further and determine whether there may have been a misunderstanding or if your visit was with another facility. We appreciate your feedback and would welcome the chance to discuss it with you. Sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

Business refused to provide a price quote without inspecting the vehicle.

Business reply on Google

Robert, We understand how frustrating it can feel when you already have an idea of what repair you need and are just looking for pricing. At Eurasian Auto Repair, we avoid quoting automotive repairs over the phone because even common jobs can vary greatly depending on the exact vehicle, engine package, previous repairs, or hidden damage, and we never want to mislead a customer with inaccurate pricing. Our goal is to provide honest, accurate European and Asian auto repair recommendations in San Antonio rather than giving numbers that may change once the vehicle is inspected. We’re sorry the conversation left a bad impression, because thats never the experience we want anyone to have when calling our shop. We hope you found a shop that's right for you and your needs Sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

Unnecessary repairs, price changes, and vehicle returned in poor condition.

Business reply on Google

Dr. Peters, Thank you again for taking the time to speak with me and for being honest about your experience with Eurasian Auto Repair. We sincerely apologize that we missed the mark on communication, vehicle condition, and overall service during your visit. I also want to acknowledge the confusion around the condenser pricing—while a part error led to the wrong part initially being sourced, we honored the original price you were quoted because that’s the level of integrity we believe every customer deserves. Your feedback also helped us recognize how difficult it can be to locate photos within the estimate link, and we’ve already updated our process to make sure every customer is clearly guided to those images moving forward. We truly appreciate you helping us improve, and our offer still stands to clean your passenger seat anytime you’re in the area, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance to provide the level of European and Asian auto repair service we’re known for. sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

Staff warned of potential damage to leather during seat repair

Business reply on Google

Chris, we’re sorry the visit didn’t align with your expectations. For seat support motor replacement, the manufacturer’s repair procedure requires proper disassembly of the seat, including separating the upholstery, to access the internal components safely and correctly. Installing customer-supplied parts or bypassing factory guidelines — such as attempting access from the back of the seat — isn’t something we’re willing to do, as it can lead to damage or improper repair, especially on European vehicles with complex seat assemblies. No estimate was provided because we could not move forward outside of those standards, and we believe following OEM procedures protects both the vehicle and the customer long term. If you’d like to discuss the repair options further, please contact management directly so we can review the best path forward for your vehicle, sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

Mechanics caused new oil leaks and failed to repair engine properly.

Business reply on Google

Antonio, We’re truly sorry this experience left you feeling this frustrated, and we understand why you’d expect a vehicle to return without ongoing issues after a major repair like a head gasket. Your vehicle is a very rare, older JDM import, and while we were able to complete the head gasket repair at no charge as a goodwill effort, sourcing additional high-quality gaskets and seals for that engine is extremely limited and in some cases no longer possible within the U.S. market. Once it became clear that further leaks were originating from separate components requiring parts we could not reliably source or fabricate to our quality standards, we made the difficult but responsible decision to stop rather than risk improper or temporary fixes. We regret if communication ever felt unclear or impersonal during that time, especially with a long-term project, as that’s never our intent. Our goal is always transparency and doing what’s right for both the vehicle and the customer- I am extremely ecstatic that you were able to find someone else to work on this vehicle and wish you all the best moving forward. sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

Vehicle repair failed and shop requested additional payment for same issue

Business reply on Google

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’re truly sorry for the frustration this situation has caused. We understand how concerning it feels when a vehicle experiences similar oil leak and coolant leak symptoms again, especially after previously trusting our shop for repairs. After carefully reviewing our records, we’re unable to locate your visit in our system, which makes it difficult to reference the original repair details and warranty coverage, but we still want to help clarify what may have happened. In many cases, similar symptoms can stem from separate components, and once a vehicle has additional age or mileage, new failures can appear even if they look the same on the surface, though we agree this deserves a clear explanation. Please contact our service manager directly so we can review your invoice history, VIN, and dates of service together and work toward a fair resolution for you because transparency matters to us. sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

Engine diagnostic failed to resolve the issue after expensive repair.

Business reply on Google

Steve, We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it is when a check engine light returns after a repair, especially after a significant investment. Our recommendations were based on active vacuum leaks and fuel pressure issues noted at the time, which are documented as starting points because multiple underlying issues can contribute to lean conditions. That said, we regret that the outcome didn’t meet your expectations and we never want a customer to feel misled or unheard. We would really like the opportunity to review the vehicle, go over the previous findings in detail, and discuss next steps to make this right. Please reach out to our shop manager directly so we can take this conversation offline and work toward a fair resolution. sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

Excessive diagnostic fees and inflated repair quotes for simple latch replacement

Business reply on Google

Antoniya, We’re sorry to hear you feel disappointed after your visit. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and response. As noted in your signed approval and our phone records, the charge covered the diagnostic process required to access and test the trunk latch system. This involved removing multiple interior panels to safely reach and test the actuator, wiring, and latch assembly — not a quick visual check. The latch was confirmed to have power, but the internal actuator was faulty. That’s what our technician verified through hands-on testing, not assumption. Additionally, thank you for confirming that you were aware of the charges, and the explanation of what they were for before anything proceeded. We understand you chose to complete the repair yourself, but our pricing reflects the time, skill, and warranty that come with professional service — not a DIY process. Our goal is accuracy and safety, not guesswork, which is why we never quote blindly or replace parts without confirmation. We appreciate that you addressed the other safety items we noted; keeping your vehicle reliable is what matters most to us. Sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

shop refused to contact warranty provider to verify coverage

Business reply on Google

Frank, We’re sorry to hear about your frustration, and we want to clarify how the extended warranty process works at Eurasian Auto Repair. In order for us to contact any warranty company, we first need the vehicle on-site so we can open a repair ticket and provide the required diagnostic information—without that, the warranty company won’t even discuss coverage. We had understood that you planned to drop the vehicle off so we could begin that process for you, but since that didn’t happen, we weren’t able to move forward. It’s also important to note that not all warranty companies honor their obligations consistently, which is why we are selective in who we work with—this protects our customers from bigger frustrations down the line. We always aim to be upfront, honest, and professional, and we’d be glad to help walk you through the proper steps if you’d like to move forward with your warranty coverage. sincerely, Eurasian Auto Repair

Business reply on Google

Jeff, First and foremost, I want to extend our sincerest apologies for the experience you had with our shop.
