movers charged unexpected fees and failed to follow assembly instructions

Business reply on Google

Hi Reya, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad that everything was moved safely and nothing was damaged. This move turned out to be a bit more involved than originally expected, as some of the details and challenges weren’t fully known ahead of time. That required some additional work and materials, which affected the final cost. That said, we understand that any additional charges should be communicated clearly before the work is done, and we’ll make sure we do a better job of that going forward. We also apologize for the misunderstanding with the monitor arm. Thank you for choosing Fat Pug Moving and for giving us the opportunity to improve.

Understaffed moving crew took longer than quoted and refused couch transport.

Business reply on Google

Hi Garrett, thanks for your feedback. We’re glad everything was moved safely and without damage. We’d like to clarify one important detail. The couch did not fit in the elevator and would have required carrying it up multiple flights of stairs — something that was not known or included in the original scope of the move. We offered to handle that additional work for an extra charge, which was declined. The 2.5-hour timeframe was also an estimate based on the information provided before the move, not a guaranteed completion time. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best. — Fat Pug Moving Team

movers damaged furniture and failed to protect floors during the move

Business reply on Google

Thank you for your feedback. The time spent on the move reflected the actual workload, including furniture that required disassembly, and our crew worked continuously throughout the job. We were surprised to read about the damaged cabinets, as no damage was reported to us during or after the move. Had we been notified, we would have been happy to review the situation and address it directly
