Customer service representative was dismissive during the inquiry process.

Business reply on Google

First off it’s interesting how any negative review we have is from someone who never used our services. Anyway Brian, 1 star to you, your behavior demonstrated to me a poor quality customer, specifically when you verbally scoffed at my answer to why a move to Chicago would take 2 days. I explained to you the reasoning, you gave attitude and I told you I wasn’t interested in helping. You can find someone else to help.

Movers damaged the mattress by folding it during transport.

Business reply on Google

Thanks for the feedback Leah, I hope you consider changing your review. I’ve already spoken with the team about the situation you described. There was no physical way to move your mattress unless using straps to secure because of the dimensions of your king mattress and the size of your walls and also the weight of your mattress . They also approached you about the possibility of damage occurring from if it needed to be bent. So that was the only way it was getting up there, they made you aware of possible consequences (which most the time the mattress is fine) you chose to have it done, and the work was preformed. Sorry things turned out this way but it’s not my guys or our procedures.

Company does not require staff to wear masks during moves.

Business reply on Google

I speak with every single customer, no exceptions and I have never spoken with an Ali Shaikh, nor was any of the information he/she described accurate of our company. Its not right of you to write false things about me and my company on the Internet. Shame on you, but lets expand on the topic. We are going to wear a mask as much as possible, during the initial meet while we go over the scope of work, we will for sure. When we start moving your items, up, down stairs and around corners, breathing gets difficult. We wear mask but when physical limitations prevent this, movers may remove their mask. As of 7/17/20 per the Governors Guidance we are not required to wear a mask and are exempt because of the physical nature of our work. So we are exempt but still do. We will work with apartment complexes, businesses and customers. Please let us know what you expect. Mask do restrict breathing and make moving much more difficult. We 100% prefer not to wear one while working. I believe many good customers understand this, just like a good moving company understands your concerns for safety as well. We will have to decline good customers from time to time unfortunately if mask will be require

Mover exhibited unprofessional behavior and verbal abuse during the move.

Business reply on Google

First off this was a load only job where (since we won’t be unloading) we advise customers to purchase blankets and straps prior to the move to secure their items. Divya elected not too against our recommendation because she was so concerned about cost. If Divya would have strapped her items like we recommended for her items 1,200 mile journey they stood a better chance of not being damaged. Nothing was damaged during the loading process except for boxes falling apart from being over the weight limit suggested by the boxes manufacturer which Divya ignored. Your account of the events 3 months ago (what took so long) is completely inaccurate as it was a year ago when you originally hired us. We tried not to work with you again but you were too persistent and used a fake number because no one else wanted to work with you. Of course people do not want to work with you when you have 6 flights of stairs and not 3 like you report. Matt was nice about your misreporting, I was not. On your list of items you failed to report a 400 pound motion bed! Yes I will say something to a customer who does not report something of this size on their moving list. This why we have the processes in place t

Movers were late, unprofessional, and demanded extra cash to complete job.

Business reply on Google

We would walk off again. Our health and safety is our top concern. Both owners were on site and saw the condition of the apartment and items and lack of packing, preperation and danger when we arrived. We are insured and we also take checks. When there are 100's of random items on a floor and we are expected to move in that apartment, it is not safe as there is a chance of a needle being one of those items.
