We understand that you are set in your opinion Michael and it may be a bit hard to understand but you know your lower control board was slowly becoming a fire hazard and was smoking up when you would start up your treadmill unit, this indicates an electrical inconsistency in that component which means that the lower control board was not pushing the proper amount of voltage over to the motor. What you had been used to seeing as in speed was most definitely not the proper amount of output that needed to happen for this treadmill unit. When we installed the new lower control board the speed regulated to what it was supposed to be originally. As soon as you messaged us we got on the phone with tech support to confirm that this issue was correct, functions were operating properly before we had left. Even horizon let us know that there is no adjustment for the speed calibration on this unit which indicates that the speed was correct. All you can do to to adjust this is stay in the lower decimals of speed, we apologize for leaving the equipment and commercial quality as opposed to leaving it in the same condition that it had originally been in.
