We are sorry about our employee who wanted only the best for your dog. Our staff love dogs and some share their feelings about electric collars when they should be silent. We have spoken with the employee and asked her to do better at holding onto her feelings of these types of collars. We are sorry that it happened, we hope to do better
Staff failed to provide promised interaction and stimulation for the dogs.

We strive to be the very best we can be to take care of customer dogs. We know the emotional bonds that exist between a dog and family. We are dog owners ourselves. When we come to work, we make the emotional and intellectual commitment to provide the best care to each dog. Our staff loves being around all dogs: itβs like a big family. Sometimes we have new people learning how to manage the resort who, in their haste, forget duties like sending pictures. Our staff is trained to be most concerned about providing a SAFE, secure play experience for dogs. SAFETY is OUR number one objective. We want all dogs to relax and enjoy their stay and go home safe at the end of the day. Yesβ¦.we do not focus on the dogs laying on the floor. They are happy, content, relaxing and generally tired. Unfortunately, the well-behaved dogs donβt get the staffβs attention like the highly anxious dogs. We want all dogs to enjoy their time with us and go home a happy hound. The team lead on shift with your dogs wanted to wait until a more experienced lead came in at noon to try the unfixed Doberman Pincher (your daughter's dog) in group and also to give the dog time to acclimated to new surroundings. You and

Marie, this is really a shock, you and I personally spoke as you were picking up Douglass. You stated you needed to get him fixed, because he is a one-year old high energy unfixed male. He came to us yesterday on his first day, the free day, we tried him on the floor. Some dogs behave differently and its really unfair to judge HHDR based on 1 experience. One day and we get 1 star, because YOUR dog had too much energy for other dogs. We do not use toys on the floor as play with toys turn into a fight. As for him being bored, I never saw it, but you would need to speak with Douglass and ask him if he was bored. He is a great dog, good luck to him.
Staff failed to supervise dog resulting in a fight and neglect

First of all, we had a male staff member carry the owner's dog Butterscotch up to the front. The dog never showed any aggression and we tried the dog on the floor because often there were no signs of an issue. The owner is paying for Dog Daycare, so we try every dog in daycare. If a dog doesn't like it, we place the dog in a 4 x 6 kennel, WE DO NOT USE CRATES AT EITHER FACILITY. So we do know how to take care of dogs and have been doing so for almost 10 years now. There was NO dog fight and no problems with Butterscotch upon leaving. Staff do not stay with a dog the entire time we have them, that is NOT WHAT WE DO and we never give that 1 on 1 attention, no one does in the industry. The owner called us at 3 pm asking us to bath Butterscotch and we let her know we were busy getting dogs ready to go home and taking care of boarding dogs. We did not have time today. She expected us to drop everything, were not the right place for Samantha. We think the world of Butterscotch and hope he has a good life.
Staff refused to allow puppy time to acclimate to environment.

Tony, we are sorry you feel that way. Your unfixed male Cane Corso dog was growling at the staff and made them uncomfortable, I tried to put a lead around him and your dog snarled at me. He was not happy here, his first visit with us. We called you back because we don't want your dog to be stressed and then possibly injure staff or other customer dogs. We always err on the side of safety, we did what we believed was right for the safety of our operation and for your dog. If you think we were wrong with your 9 month old, we are sorry you feel that way, but he was not happy to be with us and we did not want to make it worse.
