Mr. Allen, we do apologize that your U Haul rental experience wasn’t the best. Moving is stressful to begin with so it is always disappointing to hear when something that is supposed to be helpful, such as a truck, ends up causing more of a headache. Please note that although you rented your truck through Hyde Park Self Storage, we are just a U Haul affiliate who is owned and operated by a separate, local company. We will make certain to communicate to our staff to best explain U Haul capacities and capabilities at the time of reserving trucks to help ensure the best truck size needed!
