We hear that and appreciate the concern—the notice was very short, but those affected are getting severance pay and we of the non-profit cinema + those who ran the restaurant are all leaning on our contacts to try to get those let go by the restaurant new employment before the severance period is up.
Staff members were unwelcoming and made the customer feel like a burden.
Projector technical issues caused the customers to leave early.

The technical issues were unfortunate that night—equipment mixups before and some communications breakdown doomed us for a sec there—but things are typically smooth for our screenings and events.
