Dear Mr. Olasupo, Lakeside Bank does run a credit check on deposit account applications. We always inform applicants in advance to remain open and transparent. Lakeside clients have product and service advantages versus other banks that are time consuming and costly. Which we do to be of unique service to our clients. The check allows us to confirm past banking behavior. By identifying responsible clients, we’re able to spend our time and resources on positive and forward-looking opportunities … instead of addressing issues. Rewarding clients is always our goal. For 59 years, our positive approach has created appreciative clients and dramatic growth for the bank. We’re now the 10th largest bank in Chicagoland and continuing to accelerate. -Lakeside Bank
