We are so sorry that you had a bad experience at our facility. We strive to make everyone feel included and welcome, and we know that part of that effort is having our staff reflect the diversity of our city and of our membership. Our coaches and teachers are what makes Myriad work. The fitness and yoga industry is notorious for looking past diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we know that we have been part of that problem. We recognize that in order to create and support meaningful lasting change in our industry, and in our communities, we first need to demand change within our own programs, and within ourselves. We have 3 coaches/teachers who identify as Black or African-American, and more than 5 who identify as people of color (in addition to coaches/teachers who identify as LGBTQ+ or part of other marginalized groups). We are actively seeking to recruit more BIPOC and people from historically excluded groups to be a part of Myriad (including our last full-time hire, who also identifies as Black).
