Movers damaged expensive glass-front furniture due to improper packing methods.

I'm very sorry about your dressers, Mrs. Rzentkowski. We did place cardboard over the dressers as well as completely pad them and shrink wrap them. The movers took a long time wrapping each piece of furniture. I was not in the initial estimate when Ryan came, but I had multiple lengthy conversations with you and I expressed our concerns with your glass dressers. I recommended that the dressers be crated to you myself, explaining that they are super delicate and dangerous to move, especially when traveling long-distance. One of the pieces had a crack from a previous incident and was already broken. I did email back and forth with your husband numerous times and asked him to call me so we could come to some type of resolution. Although we did recommend the glass furniture be crated, we are still willing to offer some type of compensation for the 2 pieces of broken glass. You guys were super happy when your belongings were loaded and unloaded and I would like to get back to a place where you are satisfied with your move. You can reach me at 904-576-6815.

I'm sorry you were unhappy Mr. Monego. When we came for the estimate you were very specific about what you wanted. You said you'd have all furniture broken down, boxes in the garage etc. We let you know then that we prefer to take the furniture apart if you want it put back together because we like to see how the furniture comes apart etc. If you take the furniture apart you also put it back together. You said you wanted to do both because you wanted to keep the quote as low as possible. You also purchased bramd new furniture that was not part of your binding estimate and we moved it anyway. We unfortunately cannot put brand new furniture together out of boxes. You also said all of your boxes/bins (75-100) would be placed back in the garage at the new home but then decided you wanted them in the designated rooms during delivery. I told the movers to place the boxes where you wanted them, even though you got a binding estimate based on the boxes going in the garage. If your move was hourly the movers would've done anything and everything you requested but you had a set price based on you doing certain things to save money. Ryan and I both notified you that a 5 hour trip is very unco

I am so sorry the movers forgot to take the 5% military discount of $24.50 off of your bill at the end of your move. I did immediately mail you a check when your mother called to notify me. I had several conversations with her after the check was mailed. She asked me to see if the check was cashed because she thought she saw it but she didn't know where it was. I told her that I had not recieved the check back in returned mail so I was confident it was there somewhere. I then asked her to look for the check again and let me know if she found it. Your review is the first thing I've heard since I spoke with her. I offered to meet you with cash but you were not making that easy. I have had to spend more than the amount of the check to cancel it with the bank. If you would like to stop by our office I would be happy to give you $25 cash for the military discount. Thank you for your service and we hope you enjoy your new home.

Mr. Fain, We estimated your job at 5-6 hours. You paid for exactly 6 hours for your move. The other 3 hour minimum we did was to move rugs and small stuff only. I told your mother it would cost more to split your moves up because they didn't even spend the entire 3 hours there the first time moving what she requested they move. We did offer to come out and take a look at your clock and reset it or do whatever we needed to. We handle our claims internally because our deductible would usually be more than a small repair. You were repeatedly cursing and screaming at myself and Ryan so I ended the call. We are business owners but we are also human, there is only so much screaming and cursing we can take before we end communication with someone. We would be more than happy to take a look at your clock if you'd like us to. We move them all the time and we're confident it's not broken, it just needs to be reset. You also told our employee that the clock was broken when you guys purchased it and your mother knew it but falied to tell you. You and your mother told me yourself that the movers were great and everything was perfect until the clock. We could have easily fixed that situation by
movers failed to protect furniture and staff were disrespectful

I am very sorry that you had a bad experience with a moving company but I have no record of your name as a customer of ours. We have never had any customer(s) have a problem with us being disrespectful as owners or any employee of ours. We also pad (blanket wrap) each and every piece of furniture that we move, just as we always have. We also always cover the doors, door jams and use a rug runner to protect the floors. I think this review was left on our site in error as we have never moved anyone with the name Fresco. Do you remember the name of the company that moved you? Please call me at 904-576-6815 to discuss this review.
