Thank you for your review! We appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns. When your cat came in experiencing reproductive problems we made the recommendation that she be evaluated at a hospital that has reproduction specialist- in Columbus OSU is the only option. When you expressed financial constraints we were able to pivot and make the recommendation to have her seen at a different facility. We are glad that she was able to get the care she needed and is on the road to recovery! We would have been more than happy to evaluate your little kitten fully and provide treatment recommendations. However, a legal veterinarian-client-patient-relationship would need to be established prior to making any recommendations. A veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) is a formal legal and professional relationship that allows a veterinarian to provide medical care, including diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medication/recommendations. This is established through a full physical exam. Our doctor did recommend that your kitten be fully evaluated to address the club feet.
Staff provided misleading information regarding costs and diagnostic procedures.

We area truly sorry to hear about your experience and how it made you feel. Our team's top priority is always the health and comfort of the pets we care for. Your dog was brought to our treatment area because his initial vital signs raised concerns that he may have been critically ill, and we wanted to respond quickly. We will always advocate for the best possible care for every patient. We hope that Shadow got the care that he needed.

I also wish these concerns had been raised at the time of the visit so we could’ve addressed them directly and in person, but I appreciate the opportunity to clarify things here. When Penny presented to us with vomiting and not eating — both concerning signs — we had to consider a broad range of possible causes. In an unspayed female like Penny, conditions like pyometra (a uterine infection) or an intestinal obstruction are top priorities to rule out, as both can be rapidly fatal without prompt treatment. Radiographs are the tool for identifying those critical issues. Bloodwork, while it may seem general, helps detect infections, pancreatitis, early signs of sepsis, and organ dysfunction — all of which can present just like Penny did. That’s why it was recommended as part of a comprehensive approach. Later, when Penny developed bloody diarrhea in hospital, her clinical picture shifted. Given her lack of vaccination history and the new symptoms, our doctor made the appropriate call to test f
