Hi Sean, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that our recommendation caused frustration or inconvenience. When you stopped by on Monday at 8:00pm, we inspected the A/C compressor and found melted plastic around the compressor and it was not operating properly. We also believed that the control plate you installed from the junkyard might not been functioning properly. Because you mentioned you were travelling and driving to Texas, we recommended what we believed was the only reliable long-term solution based on what we observed at the time. We did not charge you anything for the inspection, and our recommendation was made with your safety and reliability in mind.
