You did rent a Corvette C8 from our company under a signed rental agreement that disclosed all pricing, mileage limits, and post-rental usage fees prior to vehicle pickup. As a courtesy, and after you explained your budget and the purpose of the rental for your wedding, you were provided a discounted rate below our standard daily pricing. The rental agreement you signed states a 100-mile daily allowance and an over-mileage rate of $9 per additional mile, which appears at the top of the agreement. At check-out, our staff completed a walk-around inspection and verbally reviewed the mileage policy, including offering additional mileage in advance, which you declined. Upon return, the vehicle underwent our standard check-in inspection. Time- and date-stamped odometer photos taken at both check-out and check-in show the vehicle was driven 253 miles, resulting in 153 miles over the agreed allowance. The over-mileage charge of $1,377 was calculated strictly per the signed agreement and itemized accordingly. This charge was not fabricated or unauthorized, and the payment method used was the same
