Repair failed to resolve engine light issue after payment.

As mentioned, I've known this family for a long time. Greg's father dated my aunt for years. Very argumentative. Greg's car came in with broken exhaust and a code for faulty purge valve. We repaired the exhaust and replaced the purge valve. Car came back few weeks later with different code (EVAP leak). We performed a smoke test (free) and determined that fuel tank fuller neck was corroded and leaking. I don't think Greg is presenting true and whole story here. He claims that he wasted his money. In fact all repairs he paid for were done correctly. Exhaust is still fine. Purge valve code is gone. Very dishonest review. Wish you all the best Greg.

failed to diagnose and repair vehicle issue

Customer drops the Subaru with P0019. Per Subaru TSB 09-120-24R you confirm that mechanical parts are functional (oil control valve and camshaft sensor). If code persists after replacing those parts, reprogram the ECU. We replaced the valve as it is fairly inexpensive, swapped camshaft sensors side to side to save customer's money. Code persisted. So next step is reprogram at Subaru. Charged the customer zero dollars for diagnosis, zero dollars to swap the sensors and offered to install the old valve back. He refused. I wonder what else he expected from us. By all means, go to Subaru. It is their procedures we follow. You definitely burned the bridge here.

Unauthorized repairs performed and recurring cooling system failure after service.

I'm sorry you're having issues with your car Shaun. You forgot to put in your review that you never once made an appointment with us, yet we took it in to check it for you. You also forgot to mention that you didn't answer your phone once when your car was in our shop. It's hard to communicate with someone when they don't answer their phone. And no, your car never overheated when here (again, that was in February and not a month ago). It's easy to point fingers and someone, a bit harder to point at yourself. Keep that in mind when you review your next mechanic so you don't find yourself in the situation where no one wants to work on your car. Wish you all the best.

Shop performed unauthorized repairs and failed to fix the engine light.

Sonya called Dave to see if we would honor the estimate from last year. After agreeing, she confirmed that she wants to proceed with the repair. Our technician began disassembling the car. We than found that she wanted us to check the Check Engine Light. At that point we already disconnected the battery and all potential codes were erased. We removed the transmission and replaced rear main crankshaft seal. Once assembled we test drove the car but the Check Engine Light did not come on. We assured the customer that if the light does come on we'll check it without charge. She came back next day with the light on. We found diagnostic codes for oxygen sensor and misfire. She also claimed that the noise of oil draining from top of the engine into the oil pan after shutting the engine off wasn't there before. We explained to her how oil drains back to oil pan after engine is shut off. I also offered to repair the car for free before she threatened us with small claim court and not after as she claims. I even offered her my personal car to drive after she started she didn't have other means of transportation. I asked Sonya multiple times how we can make it right but she just wanted to arg

Business bait and switched pricing and failed to perform necessary repairs.

We quoted the price for front brake pads and rotors. Once we disassembled front brakes we found seized calipers. We called the customer with quote including new calipers. Customer wanted us to replace pads, rotors and calipers for a price quoted for just pads and rotors. We refused. We also cleaned and adjusted rear drum brakes free of charge. Eight months later rear brakes needed to be replaced. Come to your own conclusion.
