Hi Karleen, we’re sorry to hear you were unsatisfied with your stay. To address your concerns; We do ask that guests who are able to use the stairs limit their elevator usage to make sure guests with disabilities can use it, however we are always happy to unlock it for you to move your bags. Just let us know at the front desk! Regarding the hot water, we do have a plumber scheduled to come fix the hot water in that particular bathroom, and in the meantime we do have 4 other bathrooms on that floor which all have showers available. We ask you to keep all of your food in the kitchen/dining room both for courtesy for the other guests in the room, and to help our housekeeping staff keep the rooms clean. You’re welcome to use our large kitchen/dining room anytime (24 hours) during your stay! Regarding the noise level outside the hostel, we have complimentary earplugs available for you at the front desk.
