IPH is a nonprofit community cinema, offering the best moviegoing experiences to the community. The parking and traffic flow around the building and on the surrounding streets are outside of our organization's control and do not reflect our operations. IPH is located in a shared business district with multiple other tenants, and parking in the area is managed collectively. We encourage individuals to base their reviews on the experiences and services provided directly by IPH; such as the quality of the cinema, customer service, and atmosphere inside.We understand the parking situation can be frustrating at times and hope improvements can be made by the property management or local authorities as the area continues to develop. IPH is also partnered with JUMP Transit, to encourage affordable and environmentally friendly rideshare options, as well as reminding patrons that we are located near a light rail stop. We understand the sensitivity of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and its impact on our community members, including Ukrainian refugees who have experienced trauma. At this time, the Russian-made films IPH screens are primarily through a partnership focused on experimental film with a local nonprofit, as well as through our Private Rentals program. This rental program allows private citizens, community groups, and local organizations to rent our auditoriums for their own screenings, which may be either private or public. The content of these screenings is selected by the renters and does not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of The Independent Picture House. At The Independent Picture House, we strive to provide a space where all members of our community can connect, share diverse perspectives, and use film as a means to foster understanding and dialogue. While some programming choices may be challenging for certain audiences, our goal is to support open conversation and mutual respect.
