Business refused to lend tools for a vehicle repair.

Business reply on Google

I am sorry, but we do not know who you are. You are no our customer and we never served you. If you talking about tools that you asked to give you to repair your car, you were explained that all the tools is the personal property of each mechanic. Advanced auto parts do rent out tools. So, as I said we do not know who you are. Please remove your review. Also you were reported to a google for giving bad revies and doing scams.

Poor customer service and significant delays in repair work.

We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience from over a year ago. At our shop, we always aim to provide honest, professional, and cost-effective service based on each vehicle’s condition and the customer’s needs. In your case, we diagnosed an electrical issue and recommended replacing the fuse box as the proper long-term solution. However, you mentioned you were in a hurry and couldn’t wait for the full repair. At your request, we performed a temporary fix to get you back on the road quickly. While this wasn’t the ideal solution, it was what you agreed to at the time. When you called us back a week later with concerns, we offered you a complimentary oil change—valued at $200–$250 for your type of truck—as a goodwill gesture. That’s nearly half the cost of the original repair, and we offered it simply to show we take customer satisfaction seriously, even when we work within the limitations requested by the customer. We always welcome respectful communication and regret that you didn’t bring these concerns to us sooner so we could have resolved them directly. Our team stands by our work and remains committed to doing right by every customer.

Unnecessary repairs performed without resolving the vehicle odor issue

Business reply on Google

We’re truly sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction and the negative experience you shared in your review. We always strive to provide the best possible service and support to every customer. We agree that the total estimate for the repairs was around $2,100, which included the repairs we performed and the one you agreed to. We present all issues found by the mechanic and provide a full estimate before proceeding. We showed you all the problems and clearly explained that the only noticeable smell was from burning oil caused by a leak from the valve cover onto the exhaust pipe. We never force any customer to proceed with a repair. All work is done only with your approval and at your discretion. Regarding the broken air filter door — while we do not believe it was damaged by our mechanic, we are willing to replace it for you at no cost as a goodwill gesture. As for the smell in your car, you did call us and mention that it had returned. When you brought the car back, both our mechanic and service writer inspected it and did not detect any odor. Our boss was called over, and he did mention smelling something — but he described it as a perfume-like scent, not related to burning oil or

Technicians took vehicle for unauthorized test drive and disabled security cameras.

Business reply on Google

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns and understand how important your Tesla is to you. Our goal is always to provide high-quality service while respecting the preferences of every customer. As part of our standard inspection process, a brief test drive may be required to properly assess certain vehicle systems. This is especially true for performance and diagnostic purposes. We strive to keep this process efficient and respectful of your time and vehicle. Tesla’s system settings, including camera access, are designed by the manufacturer, and in some cases, certain features may behave differently during service procedures. Mechanics do not go into a system to turn something off unless it is a wheel alignment procedure where you have to into a system and turn off some features in order to do an alignment. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to further refine our communication and service practices. If you have any additional concerns or would like to speak with us directly at 215-624-5893, we’re happy to discuss them further.

We appreciate your feedback and concerns, and we're sorry to hear you didn't feel satisfied with your experience. Let me take a moment to shed some light on the inspection process involved in PA. When It comes to the Vehicle inspection, the price Is $65 Pass or Fail. You were informed of this and you agreed to perform inspection. With the inspection, 1st thing that we have to do is to run Emission test on a vehicle. With the emission test computer check all the sensors, monitors, computers and other sensors. Next step is to check the Safety part on vehicle. In this step we put vehicle on the lift and check all the suspension, tires, light bulbs, wiper blades, brakes and few more things. If everything is good in step1 and step 2 customer will get both stickers. If Emission failed, you will not get stickers. If Emission is good but Safety is not, you will get Emission sticker only until problems with safety will be resolved. State gives up to 30 days to fix the problems on a vehicle and after that costumer can come back to the shop to get second sticker free of charge. If customer come back after 30 days, customer is responsible to pay inspection fee again. This is the state requirem

Mechanic failed to add oil causing total engine failure.

Business reply on Google

Yes, you are right. You purchased this vehicle from an auction and few days later you brought your vehicle to us for an inspection. We did inspect your vehicle and we do have an inspection report. Also we called you to show you what was wrong with your vehicle. You were notified that you need to do control arms with the ball joints, valve cover because it was leaking oil, oil change and wheel alignment. When mechanic removed a valve cover, he noticed that the timing chain is very loose and we showed you that and explained you that what might happen if you do not do the timing. You guys refused to do timing chain. You guys picked up a car and next day you brought it back for a light bulb to be changed not for a check engine light. After the light bulb was replaced, next day you called us and said that there was no oil in a car and you guys took it to a mechanic and he said that the car had no oil. You blamed us that we never put an oil in the engine. You brought your vehicle back to us and when we checked it, you drove 70 miles after we did an oil change. If there would be no oil in the engine you would not be able to drive even 1 block from us. Also we checked and you car was burni

mechanic performed unnecessary repairs to fail a vehicle inspection

Business reply on Google

I am sorry if you feel and think that we replace a part on your vehicle that was working. You failed safety inspection because your strut mount was bad. We had to replace that part and before replacing it we showed you failed part and you gave us an approval to replace it. Now you are accusing us that we invented breakdown? Like I said, I am sorry that you feel that way. We only replace parts on vehicle if the customer gives an approval. I am pretty sure that you were told that since you failed safety inspection, you have 30 days to fix the problem and bring a car for the safety sticker. All the repairs customer can do on his own. If you feel that we screw you up on something, please feel free to stop by and we will see how we can work with you and make you happy.

Mechanic failed to fix leak and caused interior damage to vehicle

And in order to fix your leak, there is a lot of work that was need to be put in. You were explained that in order to fix that leak the headliner and sunroof was need to come off.
